Mission Statement:
UBI Business Consulting will help guide small businesses through the pitfalls and complexities of planned and unplanned growth. Knowing where you’ve been is the best tool for seeing where you are heading. We will help our clients view their past performance from multiple perspectives and use it to develop plans and strategies that foster efficient and scalable growth.
After a stint in the US Navy, I settled in Silicon Valley working as a design engineer, and manufacturing engineer for various semiconductor capital equipment manufacturers. Spent time in Oregon leading the mechanical engineering group for a vacuum metallurgical equipment manufacturer. Back to California for a time then on to Colorado working as operations manager for a process gas purification equipment company. I got into sales and marketing working for a high precision, high resolution sensor manufacturing company. My last employment before retiring was Director of Business Development for a contract engineering firm. I’ve worked in sales, marketing and business development since 1997.
Having had experience in engineering, operations and business development for companies with gross revenues from <$1M- $20M has given me insight into the customer/vendor relationship between the various departments in a company, and how those relationships grow as revenue grows.
I was helped by many throughout my career, and I want to pay that forward by helping others through UBI Business Consulting.
